What I would need is the bibliography list sorted by authors names and with indexes updated (meaning the indexes on the list would still be, , etc. To update it, the positions still have the same indexes and are sorted by the order of using them in the text. I've already tried going to References -> Manage Sources and selected "Sort by Author" which in this "Source Manager" window displays OK (meaning is properly sorted by authors names), however if I then add bibliography again or try I need to change the order to be by authors names. In the end of my document I added the bibliography (References -> Bibliography) and this bibliography and all positions indexes are sorted by the Manage Sources) and inserted the citation in the text where is was needed (References -> Insert Citation). Download the BibTeX or RIS file to your computer and then import the file into Zotero (File > Import). docx file and select a desired output format (BibTeX or RIS are best). Since the beginning of the project I've been using the automatic bibliography, meaning when I needed to add a reference (citation) to any literature position, I just added a new source (References -> docx file with a bibliography generated using EndNote or Mendeley, you can use a tool called Reference Extractor. I'm writing my engineering thesis using Word 2013.
